I took the plunge and signed up for Facebook tonight. I have already told myself that I am not going to get "too involved" seeing that I already have a high maintenance relationship with blogger. Why do I do this to myself knowing that adding one more website to my day is probably not the most productive thing I could be doing. At least I'm not twittering yet!
The funny thing is I am such a novice that I can't figure out how to view anyone's wall. I guess they have to say they'll be my friend first? Way too complicated, I like blogger where you can peruse through blogs of people you know and those you don't. I have found quite a few "friends" that don't know me but I know them because they have such cute blogs.
Do you ever wonder what your Mother did as a stay-at-home-mom with no blogging, let alone no internet to keep her "connected" through the day. Oh, that's right she probably called her friends to do play dates and go to lunch... Enough time wasted here, I better go check my Facebook account!
I am back after 45 minutes of Facebook emails and surfing (and could go for another 5 hours) and am now SURE that this was a very bad idea. How can I stop this destructive behavior?

I'm in the same destructive pattern, just started fb about a week ago myself! It's a love/hate relationship so far, I wish you well in your fb experience! I hope you'll add me as a friend...:)
I haven't facebooked for the very reason you are mentioning. Plus the whole "to add or not to add" friend thing kinda freaks me out. And I don't even understand twittering...oh well. Love headbands. I have a whole box full but so many of them give me headaches. I think we have Blair on Gossip Girl to thank for the headband craze. Talk to you soon.

I just saw your comment on my blog. Of course I thought about you almost on a plane to Las Vegas when you went into labor... but believe me that I'm trying to make it work. There aren't a lot of close, warm places while I can still travel and while Scott isn't gone. Anyway, the shower is on Saturday, April 18th and I think it's going to start around 11:30. PS Annie told me she saw you the other night at Celine!
